It’s Valentine’s Day and I certainly hope your 2021 is off to a great start. So nice to put 2020 behind us! Here’s to a brighter future ahead! Today is a good day to make plans to share time with the ones you love.
If you’re feeling restless like many of us are and in dire need of a fresh travel excursion, I wanted to let you know about a special “Thank You” discount that the Little River Inn, located on the unforgettable Mendocino Coast in Northern California, is offering to Frontline Workers.
Mendocino is one of my favorite places in the entire world. I love the rugged beauty of “The Lost Coast” and after several years of being a welcome haven for weary yet excited travelers, Little River Inn is known as one of the finest accommodations around.

Little River Inn is so very grateful for the hard work being done by frontline workers in the health care community – the first responders, the EMTs, the nurses, the doctors – to keep us all safe. It is with a feeling of deep gratitude that they’ve watched our friends who work the frontlines receiving their early doses of the vaccine – and this historic inn (owned and operated by 5th generation innkeeper Cally Dym) – wants to show their thanks in a tangible way.
From now until the end of March, the Little River Inn would like to extend a special welcome to our friends who are working the frontlines in the medical community and have received the vaccine. We invite them to take 30% off any on-property room, and their heartfelt thanks. You can book by calling 1.888.INN.LOVE and letting the inn know of your role in the medical community, or online with code HEROES. The offer is good for any dates between now and March 31, with no holiday or weekend restrictions.

The weather has been beautiful on the Mendocino Coast as we kick of this new year – the rains short and sweet, the sunny days stunning, the oceans wild, and the mushrooms bountiful. We are looking forward to an amazing spring and summer, when they can hopefully welcome back all guests, new and old.
In the meantime, they would like our Frontline Worker friends to consider Little River Inn a welcome respite from the long hours they’ve spent saving lives and ensuring our futures. They deserve a safe and short escape, and then some! And the Little River Inn has also implemented rigorous safety and well-being protocols to make sure our Frontline Worker guests feel as protected as possible.
