Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk: The Collection You Need for Spring & Summer
It’s Stress Awareness Month and my retail therapy sent me to cosmetics, yet again. This time I’m into Charlotte Tilbury. I wanted luxury make up, the kind that practically enchants you. I was not disappointed.
Square and small, contained into a plastic burgundy and rose gold packaging, you’ll be surprised what this palette can do.
Since launching the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat lip liner back in 2013, the mauve-rose shade has been endorsed by countless celebrities, from Amal Clooney to Gwyneth Paltrow, and it consistently sells out each time it’s restocked. The Pillow Talk demand became so hot, Charlotte and Co. decided to give fans even more with an entire makeup collection inspired by the shade, which, unsurprisingly, was a real mega-hit.

This is my badass daughter Lauren wearing the entire pillow talk collection: blush, lipstick and the eye shadow quad.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Matte Revolution lipstick is like your own lips, but rosier. I love the color because you can wear it with anything and feel more polished.
Final thoughts
Fabulous! I love this luxury makeup line and I have no complaints. The eye shadow is easily blend-able with my Moxie brush and has a little fall out, the lipstick stays on for a few hours, and the blush looks like you were lit from within. It has that special highlighter in the middle of the blusher for the apples of your cheeks. Some people say it look like a nipple, but I don’t think so! The only thing I did not purchase in the Pillow Talk Collection was a lip liner. I felt like I spent enough money as this particular review is not sponsored.
Thank you for reading The Badass Writer! Straight ahead, a book review on the thriller Little Lovely Things, plus the Charlotte Tilbury reviews continue but this time we’ll look at Lauren as she models the CT Golden Goddess palette!
